PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

No Offseason Baseball and No Offseason Softball are proud that so many talented and experienced trainers choose to train our players.  Please read about them below.

If you are interested in scheduling a private hitting, fielding or pitching lesson, see below for information about our packages.  Our trainers also are available to provide group instruction to teams.

1. Book A Private Lesson Package

Single 30 Minute Lessons - $42 

Package of 5 30 Minute Lessons - $192.50

2. Purchase A Lesson Package

Read about our trainers below.  After buying a package, log in the online scheduling system and then go to Scheduling and then Appointments to book it.  Note that you are in complete control of your schedule.  So long as you cancel online more than 24 hours in advance, you will receive a credit for rescheduling at a future date.

For best prices on our Private Lessons, become a Batting Cage Member.

If you want to commit to baseball or softball, sign up for our Batting Cage Membership + Lessons Membership.  It is $199 per month.  You get 4 lessons per month (use them or lose them) plus unlimited access to our batting cages.  You can cancel any time after 3 months.  Learn more about Batting Cage Membership + Lessons.

3. Our training

We train the TekBat system.

All members will receive a key fob so they can access the facility from 8 am to 11 pm daily.  For non members, we are a "book and schedule in advance facility - not a walk in facility".

Chuck Rouda (Baseball Pitching and Hitting-available upon request)

Baseball is Chuck's passion.  He has been playing baseball and coaching and training young baseball players all of his life.  Chuck is also passionate about community and served as the President of Mars Baseball for over 10 years.  

Chuck is a graduate of Richland High School. When he was a senior in high school, he had the second highest number of strikeouts as a pitcher in the WPIAL.  Chuck continued playing baseball at Indiana University of Pennsylvania after high school.  Chuck ultimately suffered a career ending injury while attending a tryout for the Cincinnati Reds.  Chuck then began his coaching career in Massachusetts at Central Catholic High School.

Chuck is a certified trainer of the Velocity Plus Arm Care Program (http://velocityplusarmcare.com) and trains players in TekTraining System (https://tekmatic.net/tektraining/).

 

Chuck also offers individual, group and team hitting, pitching, fielding and strength lessons/programs.  If you are interested in scheduling with Chuck, you can text him at 412-812-2093.

Jamie Switalski (Baseball Hitting and Fielding-available for online booking)

Jamie graduated from Pine Richland High School in 2014 where he played varsity baseball for 3 years.  After graduation, Jamie went to University of Maryland Baltimore County.  At UMBC, Jamie played baseball for three years and played the positions of 1st base and 3rd base and he also pitched.

Jamie is the new addition to the coaching staff at No Offseason Baseball. 

 

He is now available for hitting and fielding lessons. 

Jamie is in the building and available for lessons on Monday through Friday.

John Finke (Travel Team Director)

John is from Erie, Pennsylvania and played baseball at Iroquois High School where he was named first-time all region shortstop his junior and senior year.  After high school, John played Division II baseball in the PSAC at Clarion University.  In his collegiate career, he played every single position but he was primarily a middle infielder.  In his senior year, John was in the starting pitching rotation. John is available for pitching, hitting and fielding lessons.

John is our Travel Team Director.

Alex Ficorilli (Baseball Hitting/Strength and Conditioning)

Alex "Fick" Ficorilli has two Bachelor Degrees from Clarion University: Nutrition and Exercise Science and Athletic Coaching.

 

Alex played Ice Hockey and Baseball as a youth.  He continued his athletic career as a student athlete playing baseball at Clarion.  While at Clarion, he played shortstop and 3rd base.

 

He is driven to provide the best opportunities and experience within the training environments for each and every athlete. He has extensive experience in sports performance coaching of athletes from middle school-college level. He also works with macronutrient specific meal plans for athletes of all ages and sports. His goal is to optimize athletes to reduce the risk of injury as well as optimizing athletic performance.

Alex is in the building and available for personal training sessions on Monday through Friday.

He also runs the Elite Strength and Conditioning program for players from 8th grade through High School.  It offers athletes the ability to work out up to 3 times per week.  The program is available on Monday through Saturday at convenient times.  REGISTER HERE 

Baseballs

Luke Rouda (Baseball and Softball Hitting)

Luke Rouda is graduate of Mars High School and Clarion University.  He played baseball in college at Pitt Bradford.  After being away from baseball for a couple of year, he has found his way back into the cage to coach on a part-time basis.

He is available for lessons on Mondays and Thursdays.

Baseballs

Tim Hohos (Baseball Hitting/Strength and Conditioning)

Tim Hohos graduated from Pine Richland High School and is currently a senior at the University of Slippery Rock where he played club baseball.

 

Tim is a NextTier baseball coach.  He also provides hitting lessons and assists Alex Ficorilli with strength and conditioning.  

He is available for lessons on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturday mornings.
